
Microsoft development team published first preview of AL code. Using visual studio code instead of traditional C/AL coding.
MS announced this during Directions EMEA that preview will be available in month of December and MS development team working so hard to get this.
At the moment MS published first glimpse of AL code and you can find this in github

As per MS Goal of this VS development to write extensions and Dynamics 365 App and this tool will not be use for general NAV development at the moment and in future this is only option
